“Metropolitan Chic” , “Red Carpet goddess” and “Demure Beauty” are some of the many ways to describe the woman adorned in a Tsemaye Binitie outfit. It’s no wonder, American music stars Carrie Underwood and Alicia Keys are fans of the London-based Nigerian designer.
On Saturday 4th May 2013, Nigerian online luxury retailer 5th + Quansah hosted the in-demand designer for the first and exclusive unveiling of his label’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection – Number 6 at the Didi Museum, Lagos.
The event which kicked off at mid-noon, saw celebrities and Lagos stylistas including Wizkid, Dolapo Oni, Misi Molu, Kike Soyode, Ruth Osime, Kiki Kamanu, Zara Okpara, Kemi Adetiba, Ify Umeokeke and Tokini Peterside in attendance. The walls of Didi Museum were decorated with artworks by Ighodalo George from his Pungent Punctuations collections.
Dressed in simple, yet chic, outfits, some ladies at the event gave us lots of “shoegams” including Elohor Aisien in nude Valentino Rockstud Slingback sandals, Caroline Danjuma in tribal black-and-white heels, Vanessa Banigo‘s white sandals and Ojy Okpe‘s black pointed toe pumps.
While shopping for the fab pieces, guests were offered gummy bears, yummy cupcakes and glasses of champagne. Check out all the photos only on BN!
